Create and Promote Craft Beverage Events and Experiences

Part of the allure of beer tourism is also the opportunity to engage with locals and experience nightlife in the city. As such, it is critical that Pittsburgh builds on events and activities that closely align with or complement craft beverage experiences. Currently, the Three Rivers Beer Week is the only marquee event consisting of entertainment, performances, and pop-up food experiences at participating breweries, drawing thousands of participants regionally. Its success indicates the latent demand in the market for more cross-brewery activations and large-scale events and festivals to support traffic to businesses in the industry.
