Build Relationships With African-American Tourism and Heritage Community

Although VisitPITTSBURGH has long been a promoter of various tourism assets centered on Black history in the city, there remains a great opportunity to build deeper partnerships with local partners to ensure better coordination of citywide events and attractions celebrating Black history and culture. As the destination endeavors to further elevate African-American heritage tourism and expand its visitor experiences, it is important to initiate conversations with new and old partners throughout the city to better understand their operating and marketing needs and perspectives.
