Promote Pittsburgh Nightlife

Although Pittsburgh’s spectator sports drive a large share of nighttime activity in the City throughout the year, most of this traffic is confined to stadiums, arenas, and sports bars. Diversifying the nighttime economy will be important to attract a wider range of visitors to the destination, as well as capture a larger share of overnight tourism. This includes investing in the marketing of existing nighttime venues/attractions as well as developing new ones to better reflect the preferences of the different audience segments of visitors to the City – for example, frugal families and active adventurers.
